Laundry
Washers and dryers are located at the back of the main washroom building, bring your soap loonies and quarters, cost of a load $2.
Recreation Hall
The recreation hall is used for crafts, games, activities and accommodates approximately 120 people, has a kitchen. This can be rented for a private party for $200 per day.
Washrooms
At Auburn Riverside Retreat we work very hard to ensure that the washroom facilities are always extremely clean and sanitary. We stress a clean washroom environment for your ease and relaxation. There are two main washroom facilities with sinks, toilets and showers. One located mid campground and the other located at the back by the recreation hall. Two units are handicap accessible.
Pool and Playground
We have a pool inspected regularly by the health unit. The children’s playground is right beside the pool and has a small basketball court, beach volleyball net, soccer field, 3 horseshoe pits, brand new play equipment with 3 slides, a rock wall, monkey bars and more!
Check In/Out
Check in time is 3:00, Check out is 11:00 am for all sites and cabins. Call the office for special arrangements including early or late check in or out.
Cancellation Policy
Transient Sites: No refund within 7 days of reservation. 1 night charge within 7-14 days. $25 per reservation if more than 14 days.
Group Transient Sites: To make a group reservation, payment in full is required for one site within a group site. This payment is non-refundable. Regular cancellation policy applies to all additional sites booked within the group site.

Cabin Rental "The Maitland"
Our Pine Cabin (site #126) is set among beautiful maple trees, across from the Maitland River. Sit on the deck bench to relax and enjoy. (See Suggested packing list in FAQ)
- 16’x24’ with 6’ deck.
- Accommodates up to 6 people.
- Hydro through out.
- Two bedrooms with double bed, and day bed with pull out trundle.
- Kitchenette with prep counter, bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes for 6, cutlery, pots and pans, and table and chairs.
- There is no running water inside the cabin, however there is a tap outside the cabin (washroom with showers and sink to wash dishes are across the road.
- Equipped with a hotplate for cooking.
- Camp fire pit with cooking grill.
- Two Adirondack chairs and picnic table.
- Non-smoking and no pets.
- No air conditioning but has a ceiling fan to enjoy the lovely river breezes.

Our Timber Frame Cottage (site #128) is set among beautiful maple trees, across from the Maitland River. Sit on the deck bench to relax and enjoy the birds singing. (See suggested packing list in FAQ)
